We had another busy and investigative science lesson based on reversible and irreversible changes. First, the class learnt what reversible meant and looked at examples and then looked at what irreversible changes with examples. Jupiter then split into groups to work out which liquids and solids were reversible and irreversible and made predictions. We tested the following: water and salt, bicarbonate of soda and lemon, bicarbonate of soda and vinegar, vinegar and lemon. The class observed that water and salt was reversible when they saw the water evaporate two days later leaving the salt in the bowl!
