We have been enjoying exploring the ice and snow! The children wanted to know what would happen if we left some toys in water overnight and so we carried out an investigation. The next day we discovered the toys trapped in the ice! The children then enjoyed trying different ways to rescue the toys.
Nursery winter
We have been developing our mark making skills in lots of different ways. The children enjoy using pens, crayons, chalk, paint and making marks in sensory materials such as salt.
Nursery - mark making
Over the past couple of weeks we have been getting creative in different ways including junk modelling, dancing and painting, enjoying water play outside making different flavoured tea and celebrating birthdays. We have been developing our own ideas, working together with our friends and sharing resources. We have also been developing our hand and arm muscles which help us when we write.
