Friday 5 December 2025 Non Uniform day- Chocolate Raffle Donation On Friday 12th December the children are welcome to come into school in their own clothes in return for a chocolate donation which will be used as prizes for our raffle on the 19th December.

Wednesday 19 November 2025 Wellbeing club 19/11/25 This week in Well-Being Club, we created our very own well-being comics! The children explored real-life situations that may have upset them and turned them into thoughtful comic strips. Each comic showed:

Thursday 13 November 2025 Wellbeing Club Week 2 This week in Well-being we talked about stress — what it means to us, whether everyone feels it the same way, how our bodies react to it, and ways we can feel less stressed. The children's input and examples of stress-related situations were fantastic, with lots of thoughtful ideas shared about what makes us feel stressed and how we can calm ourselves down. For our activity, we used air-drying clay (Well-being's favourite resource!) to create our own stress balls. They could be any colour or pattern, as long as they fit comfortably in our hands. Trying to make them perfectly round was stressful — but we managed to make some wonderful ones in the end!

Tuesday 11 November 2025 Nursery Spaces We currently have 2 year old morning and afternoon spaces available for January 2026. If your child turns 2 between September 1st 2025 December 31st 2025 they are eligible for a January spot. If you would like a place, please contact the school office for an application form.

Friday 7 November 2025 Gorillas Autumn 2, Week 1 This is our first week back in school and what a week it has been! We have been learning new vocabulary; how to follow instructions; all about similarities and difference between ourselves and our friends. The most exciting part was learning all about different animals and if things were alive, dead or never alive.

Wednesday 5 November 2025 First week back to Wellbeing Club for Autumn Term 2! First week back to Wellbeing Club for Autumn Term 2! We welcomed some new members and some returning faces. To start the session, we created Mood Monsters! The children designed their own monsters and used colours to express their feelings — for example, yellow for happy and red for angry.

Wednesday 22 October 2025 Making Street Food Year 6 made and tried samosas with peas, potato, spinach and spices. Everybody LOVED them.

Friday 17 October 2025 Football Year 5/6 Children from years 5 and 6 represented Fishwick last night at UCLAN. They played 3 games in total and have 2 more to play next Thursday.

Monday 6 October 2025 Macmillan Coffee Morning On 6th October we held a Macmillan Coffee morning is support to raise money for cancer. In total we raised £109 , thank you to everybody who came and showed support.
