First week back to Wellbeing Club for Autumn Term 2!
We welcomed some new members and some returning faces. To start the session, we created Mood Monsters! The children designed their own monsters and used colours to express their feelings — for example, yellow for happy and red for angry.
After making some wonderful designs, the children completed a Kindness Diary. In this activity, they reflected on things they had seen, done, or experienced that showed kindness. We had some lovely examples, such as saying thank you or holding the door open for others.
Finally, we finished with some calming breathing exercises using Breathing Hands. The children traced around their hands while breathing in and out slowly to help them relax and feel calm.
