Year 1 - Gorillas

We would like to give you a huge welcome to the children and parents of Gorillas class. The children in Gorillas class are taught by Mrs East with the support of Miss Flynn.

In Year 1 we are passionate about education and the use of learning through play. We incorporate play based learned with the national curriculum to ensure that all children progress and can learn in a way that suits them.

This year we will be building on all the amazing skills the children learned in Reception class. We use a mixture of whole class learning and group work to provide all the children what they need. By the end of this year, we hope that children will be taught as a whole class to equip them for Year 2.
