Dear parents, carers and children.
Welcome to another exciting year in Mars class!
This upcoming year will be very exciting and fun filled year. Your child will be learning so many new things as well as growing and maturing socially and academically.
In the classroom we all follow the golden rules, we share and respect each other, we will always be kind, good listeners; we work quietly and will always try our best. We will learn how to model good manners and behaviours.
This year the class teacher is Miss Wheeler and the teaching assistant is Mrs McComb. If you would like to talk to either of us, please drop by in the morning or after school and we will do our best to help you or your child.
Our p.e days are Wednesday and Thursday afternoon so please ensure your child’s full p.e kit is in school.
Reading books are changed daily but only if signed by an adult. In class your child will be listened to read at least twice weekly. This is done through guided reading or on a 1:1 basis. Please ensure reading diaries are signed and returned daily.
Mars library day is Friday afternoon, please could library books be returned at the latest Thursday afternoon. If you want/need to keep the book longer please speak to Miss Wheeler or Mrs McComb .
